Who is Guy Kawasaki?
Guy Kawasaki is a managing director of Garage Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm and a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. Previously, he was an Apple Fellow at Apple Computer, Inc. Guy is the author of eight books including The Art of the Start, Rules for Revolutionaries, How to Drive Your Competition Crazy, Selling the Dream, and The Macintosh Way. AllTop.com is a new site from Guy Kawasaki, the well-liked venture capitalist and author.
Inspired by PopURLS, the site takes the RSS know-how out of the aggregation of high-quality content from the web (Translation: You don't have to be tech-savvy because there's no setup). Let's say that you're interested in startups and venture capital and you want to get all the news from blogs and such, but you don't want to customize your own feeds.
So you go to startups.alltop.com or venturecapital.alltop.com and they've already done the dirty work for you. You get all the latest news and blog posts from around the net, and it's pre-screened by Kawasaki's team.
I check it out from time to time and I find some real gems there. I hope you do too.
